Students of class 8 were taken on a field trip to an agricultural field in April 22. They were shown different agricultural implements, irrigation systems, harvesting of the wheat crop and different agricultural practices in tandem with the lesson they were studying in science.

Various Virtual Field Trips were planned for our children! Each class was given virtual tours of different places of the world like London, France, Australia, Antarctica, Africa, India etc and the teachers took up follow up activities based on the trips.

An Online Parent Teacher Meeting was held in August 2020. Everyone was given a fair chance to interact, queries were raised through Chat and the teacher resolved all the queries during the session. The performance of the children was also discussed on a one to one basis.

The Gurukul, Panchkula’s Anmol Kaushik was a part of the U-17 Boys Haryana Cricket team which won the Finals of the 64th National School Games held at Gujarat in Jan ’19. Anmol scored a total of 215 runs in the tournament. In the Final match against Uttrakhand, Anmol scored an unbeaten 46 runs and helped the team chase their way to victory.

Our team participated under the banner ‘ Eco Warriors’ and sold Eco Friendly products like hand painted planters, hanging lights made from used bottles, stationary made from recycled paper and handmade book marks.

A colourful Christmas Carnival was held in the school in Dec to celebrate Christmas. The bright sunny morning set a perfect backdrop for the celebrations. The school wore a festive look with ‘Red and White’ as the dominating theme. Carols, enactments and dance performances by the students and a lively Santa’s jigs added to the magic.
