National Handloom Day was celebrated in school through a vibrant exhibition for parents, showcasing the rich and diverse handloom traditions of different states of India. The exhibition highlighted unique weaves, fabrics, patterns and craftsmanship, offering visitors an insightful glimpse into India’s cultural heritage. Through this initiative, the school encouraged appreciation for indigenous artisans, traditional crafts and the spirit of ‘Vocal for Local’, beautifully reflecting its motto, “Modernity with Traditions.”

Festival of Trees was celebrated in association with Green Planet Society at Gazipur Urban Forest to instil environmental stewardship and strengthen students’ bond with nature. Students of classes IV & VI accompanied by their parents, participated in activities that highlighted the importance of tree plantation, biodiversity and sustainable living.

Investiture Ceremony was hosted to formally induct the newly elected Student Council into leadership roles. In a proud moment, young leaders were conferred badges and sashes by their parents, symbolising responsibility, integrity and service. The ceremony inspired a spirit of leadership, encouraging students to lead by example, uphold school values and perform their duties with dedication, confidence, and commitment to the school community throughout the academic year ahead.

The students of classes IV and VI along with their parents visited the Gazipur urban forest area for a plantation drive and nature walk. Under the initiative taken jointly by the Green Planet Society and The Gurukul Zirakpur, about 400 plants were planted.
