  • The Gurukul Panchkula’s U-14 Boys Cricket Team crusaded its way to victory in the Inter School U-14 District Cricket Tournament on Sep 20, 2022.The Gurukul boys beat Satluj Public School by 6 runs in the Finals.

  • The Gurukul Panchkula’s U-17 Boys Cricket Team crusaded its way to victory in the Inter School U-17 District Tournament on Sep 12, 2022. The Gurukul boys won the match by 8 wickets against Satluj Public School, Panchkula in the finals.

  • The Gurukul is the first educational institute in the region to bring Meghdoot – Magic Drops- Water from Air for its students, which extracts water from ambient air, purifies it and further re-mineralises it, making it absolutely safe and fit for drinking purpose.

  • The Gurukul, Panchkula, adhering to its tradition of inculcating family values and acknowledging the importance of elders, celebrated Grandparents’ Day in the school. Some grandparents of the Old Age Home, Panchkula also joined us for the celebration.

  • In commemoration with the National Nutrition Week from Sept 1-7, 2022, A Cook Off competition for Moms and Dads of students of Cocoon to Grade II was held in school.

  • A one day seminar was organised for the tricity students of grades 9-12 to give them an insight into the Pilot Training Programme being offered by Airways Aviation in July 2022.

  • Summer Camp 2022 organised in the school in association with Lynkube was a grand success! More than 150 students participated in this one-of-its-kind camp for experiential learning from May 28 to June 11, 2022.

  • A funfilled programme was organised for the mothers of the Pre Primary students on account of Mother’s Day in May 2022.

  • Dr . Rahul Mehra, representative of India, UNESCO Chair for Global Health and Education, and Executive Chairman of TARANG Health Alliance interacted with the Gurukulites over the pressing need for a healthy life style in April 2022.

  • Various activities were conducted to mark the ‘Earth Day’ at The Gurukul, Panchkula.

  • Students of class 8 were taken on a field trip to an agricultural field in April 22. They were shown different agricultural implements, irrigation systems, harvesting of the wheat crop and different agricultural practices in tandem with the lesson they were studying in science.

  • The school bid farewell to the students of Grade XIl in a different style by treating them to a fun filled day at SMAAASH – a gaming and entertainment centre in Chandigarh in April 22. The students of Grade XI and XII had a time of their lives and enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

  • An orientation programme for parents across all grades was organised in April -22 to apprise them about the curriculum and teaching methodologies.

  • The Gurukul, Panchkula wins the ‘Best Maintained Garden’ Award in the 34th Spring Fest – 2022 organised by HUDA for the 18th consecutive year

  • The Gurukul , Sector-20, Panchkula organized a small interactive session for the students of Government Middle School, Village Kundi, Panchkula under the Government Milan Program Scheme in Dec 2021 for the purpose of sharing best practices among schools. The event provided a platform to the students to display their best talents and share their knowledge with each other and participated in various scientific experiments.

  • The Gurukul, held its Investiture Ceremony for the session 2021-22 in Oct 2021. In this solemn ceremony, the school council was sworn in.

  • National Nutrition Month was observed in Sept 2021 for all Primary classes wherein many activities were conducted to inculcate healthy eating habits in our little munchkins.

Aashna Chaudhary (6) has bagged a Gold Medal in a State Level Sqay Martial Arts Competiton, Khelo India Women’s League held at British School, Panchkula in March 2024.

Prabhgun Singh (9) has won the INSPIRE AWARDS scholarship worth Rs.10000/- for his innovative idea of Tod 2teen. His idea was to develop a shoe which adjusts itself to the shape and size of a foot by giving complete comfort. It’s a cost effective, convenient and accessible idea.

Akshir Singh Kush (9) has marked The Gurukul’s presence on the Global Map by winning a Bronze medal in one of its kind, World Snowshoes Championship (Athletics, Running on Snow), organised by the World Snow Shoes Federation (WSSF) in collaboration with the Local Government of Cantabaria, Spain at Picos De Europa, National Park, Cantabaria, Spain.
